Motorbike License Guide
Know what license you need before renting a motorbike in Da Nang.
Before riding in Vietnam, make sure you have the appropriate driving license and documents for the motorbike you choose.
Do I Need a License?
Yes. If you plan to ride a motorbike that requires a license, you must have a valid license that is legally recognized in Vietnam.
The license requirements depend on the type and engine size of the motorbike.
International Driving Permit (IDP)
If you are using an International Driving Permit, it must be valid and recognized for use in Vietnam.
An IDP should be carried together with your original driver's license from your home country.
